Metronome — Product Information

Revision METRONOME-RU-001. English translation of the Russian legal profile; product notice within the common Tape In legal framework.

1. Purpose

Metronome is Tape In’s browser metronome. It lets the User set tempo, start/stop the metronome, determine tempo with Tap Tempo, choose meter/beat unit, use available rhythm and practice modes, and set sound and volume.

2. Account

A Tape In account is not required for standalone Metronome use. Therefore no separate product acceptance is required merely to start standalone Metronome.

3. Local preferences

Selected sound and volume may be stored in browser local storage on the User’s device. These preferences can be removed through browser controls. This local storage does not create separate cloud storage for User musical content.

4. Integrations with other products

If Metronome is used together with another Tape In product/function, the rules of the relevant product additionally apply to data belonging to that product. A new integration that changes the composition or method of data processing requires an update of the applicable documents before that integration is launched.

5. Analytics and technical data

Tape In first-party analytics may record page visits and general usage events described in the Personal Data Processing Policy. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Ordinary web-server technical logs are processed under the common Tape In security/operations framework.

6. Free mode and availability

The current Metronome is free. Tape In does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation and may develop available functions. Paid functionality requires a separate commercial/legal release.

7. General rules

The Tape In Core Terms, Acceptable Use Rules, Personal Data Processing Policy and Browser/Device Storage Notice apply to Metronome to the extent objectively relevant to the service.
